mine divorced when i was a little girl, i barely experienced that wholesome family unit kind of lifestyle.. and i did get upset and all (which is pretty pointless btw).. but you learn to accept it pretty soon and its NOT your fault. its your stupid parents fault -IF they happen to divorce. it wasnt long before i couldnt care less if they were together or not, and now i dont even give a rats ass if they even like each other as friends. they both have different partners now, and im going my seperate way just like they are. be optimistic, hes only 5 minutes away.. and theres a pretty good chance they'll get back together soon. dont let it upset you, there are things way worse parents could do to forget you up
moral to the story: parents fail

I'm glad all you can do is criticise people contributing to a discussion. Shut the forget up and get out.

Anyway, my parents got divorced when I was like, 14 or something. They were pretty upfront about it, I knew ages before that it was heading that way and I was all "oh try marriage counselling again" but eventually I got so sick of hearing them arguing in the kitchen every night that I was pretty much hoping they'd split up. Then they did and it was good because they were happy, which meant I was happy, and so everyone was happy.

Although I had a friend who's parents totally sued the stuff out of each other and filed for full custody and stuff. Infact it got to the point where one parent would leave their kids in a carpark, drive away, and the other parent would come pick them up - just so the parents wouldn't have to see eachother. That kind of situation would suck.

Don't be mad that I didn't agree with you.
