Like I said, compound is the best bow you're going to get. Longbow and recurve are more for their classical and aesthetic quality, not to say they're ineffective. I have a Longbow, 2 compound, and I've used a few recurve bows.

Again, Compound is best suited for beginners. String tension can be adjusted quite simply on them, so if you can't pull 85 Pounds, it can be toned down however you need it.

I am going to look up youtube videos and research compound. Don't they sell them at Big 5?

I have been waiting for a bow ever since I was 11. My parents say it is too dangerous when I know a friend in Missouri who has been shooting bows when he was six.

i got a plan! get the cash like i said and convince them you're being all responsible and crap, then sneak off and buy one then hide it so they cant see :3
