hao 2 find out router

ok, so I need to portforward and we get internet from our neighbor upstairs, via router, and I dunno what kind of router he has to portforward, and he's sick and my mom doesnt want me "bothering him"

Well you can go to the default gateway (192.168.1.1?) and usually it'll say there.

If your router has no password, then you could just type in your static IP.
Usually is like 192.168.x.x

ok I found it, its asking for a pas, is it jut the wep key?

Try not putting in a pass, if that doesn't work try the word "admin" without quotes. If nether works then ask your parents if they put a password on it.
