I didn't say be emotional about it, I was saying to deal with it rather than go into denial.

My parents got divorced when I was 3 or something, I guess I'll never see why people get so worked up over it. If your parents are on friendly terms be glad, that's what matters. Unlike a divorced family I know where the dad won't even talk or be in the same room as the mother (although the mother divorced for a bad reason). My parents don't always see eye to eye but they talk to each other and get stuff sorted out, that's good enough for me.
