| Need opinion on computer parts. |

Okay, so I'm going to be getting a new computer soon, probably the next few weeks. I was talking to a friend that knows more about the components then me, and he made up most of this list for me. I'd like some opinions on it, is everything compatible, etc. He says it should work fine, but I don't know what the part specifications really mean so I want a second opinion. CPU Motherboard Memory Video Card Hard Drive - Note: I looked at it and it isn't SATA II. I don't quite know the difference, only that it's supposedly faster. Maybe this could be confirmed? The parts will work, but you can find most of those parts cheaper on Newegg. The only thing significantly cheaper on Newegg is the CPU though. You'll also want to get a triple channel memory kit instead of dual. |

Well, the reason I'm looking at that site is because I know there are Canada Computer stores I can go to to pick it up. I rather not have stuff mailed, if possible. I don't know though. |

There's nothing wrong with getting your parts mailed unless your mailman hates you for some reason. Also, a lot of the video card manufacturers are offering a free copy of Call of Duty World at War on Newegg. *edit* If you get a 260 make sure to get one with 216 processor cores instead of 192. They have a nice performance gain and barely cost anything extra. |

Kaphix noted to me that the case may not be able to fit some of the components, like the video card. |
