Radeau:

ok i have been trying to get my ports forwarded for a really long time now but cant get anything to work! i read through badspot's topic on port forwarding, but it didnt help. when i was on portforward.com i found my router, but it my router was set up totally different then there's. oh and am i supposed to just forward port 28000? because when i tried to host a game it said that i need to forward ports 28000 and 28032. im really confused here, so if you could help me that would be great.

Stone:

Find your router again...
1. read the small letters under the big name
example(mine),
WESTELL
Model 327W
2. if there is more than one router that starts with those letters/numbers, look on bottom to see how the numbers/letters continue, find it, then follow directions

So you don't have to type in the website again =D

Radeau:

i have already been on portforward.com and found my router, Siemens Gigaset SE567. so i clicked on it and got the directions. but when i logged into the router, mine was setup way different then the picture they had. somehow i got to port forwarding. and i forwarded ports 28000 and 28032. they are the right ports right? i read badspot's post on port forwarding and it said forward port 28000, but when i went to host an internet game a message popped up and said i needed to forward ports 28000 and 28032.

Justin K.:

I'm pretty sure you were right the first time.  Were the ports open or closed.

Radeau:

ok i think i forwarded them right the first time like Justin K. said, i forwarded port 28000 - 28032. does anyone if thats right? im not sure if they are open or closed so ill check. in the mean time could someone tell me if i forwarded it right?
