I have come to the conclusion that Badspot wants to kill AoT but is too kind to just do it, he would rather have everyone quit.  Thus we can't mod, or host, et cetera.

The only reason why people want to host AoT is so they can power trip or whore attention. 

Also it's a persistant world game.  Hosting a temporary server on a residential connection is pointless and only serves to cheapen the whole experience.
