Note: Verizon hates when people host using their service. (Includes DSL, FiOS, and sometimes EVDO.)

I think it is important to remind everyone that in most instances you need to do more than port forward to host, despite the fact that port forwarding is a very important part. Look into configuring your computer/router connection in a way such that it lets traffic through efficiently.

Make sure you have it enabled.
