Multitool Functions not Working

I own the the Multitool wand. Unfortunately, it has not been updated to the fix the L3 trust glitch, so some of it's functions don't work anymore.
I run a Mac, so I can't unzip the .zip and fix the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this?

not multitools, you need to edit it yourself

That's also kind of the worst part, I can't "unzip" the .zip to edit the code. Any ideas on that problem?
