The U.S. Navy.

It actually has a wider range of specializations than most other branches. Pilot, spec ops, mariner, ect. My friend worked ordinance for a while.

I don't have the courage to be in the Air Force, and as cool as the marines are, they are a hell of a lot more dangerous.

Go ahead, but think 'What can the army do for me' before you go in.
Don't go in and get a job that you could never use outside of the army, get one that could get you a lot of jobs outside the army.
Also, don't go in just to repeat footsteps, go in for multiple reasons. Love for your country, collage...
