I meant hard, yes, and I didn't edit it because there is no edit button.  But there is something else you can do, you said it only works on single player mode.  So, play online and set it to one player maximum.

IP:99.999.999

You've got to be kidding me. I see many problems with this.

1) That IP does not exist.
2) That IP is impossible because there is no IP standard (http://www.ietf.org/rfc) that supports your "999" the highest it'll ever be is 255.
3) That IP is impossible because there is no IP standard (http://www.ietf.org/rfc) that supports your "*.*.*" because IPv4 is 4 sets of numbers, and IPv6 is 8 sets of 4 hex chars.

http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc0791.txt (Fun fun fun, we know we all love reading these things, its so very exciting.)

Have you ever been able to start a server in singleplayer mode? Usually the game creates the server then you connect to it as a host-client. I assume it's using the wrong IP instead of 127.0.0.1 or something curious.

Obviously it is an invalid IP, thanks for stating the obvious and being so tremendously useless.

Things you need to do:
* Stop crossing out stuff if you don't need to
* Stop using unnecessary colors
* Cut down on question mark/exclamation point usage
* Cut down on unneeded caps
It draws away from the fact that you're trying to ask a serious question.
