Agreed, the damage system was a huge disapointment in NFS.

My Burnout Paradise CD got damaged (xbox scrached it >:( ) and now I'll need a new one but I don't want to spend money on a game that I will barelly play anymore. Any news/announcement for a new Burnout? :|
