Server Hosting Problems

the problem is that i have forwarded my ports and everything to host a server and i hosted one two days ago and today i started a server for my friend and i but for some reason it was dead and was always that way i also checked all of my ports and everything but nothing seems wrong and i didnt host on LAN it was on the internet i would appreciate any help

Tell us how did you port forward.

well i have qwest actiontec firmware so i put 28000-28032 to the advanced port forwarding and did the same in my applications and i also put my DNS adresses in my local area connection TCP/IP internet protocol and also my default gateway and all that pretty much what badspots guide says except for the router page parts
