Rawr!:

is it possible to make a light projected foward instead of all around you?
it would make dark zombie/DM games alot more intense.
and could you make it so that only the player can see were there own light is projected, when other players just see a small beam coming from where ever?

if the light had to reposition itself every time the player turned directions, yes?

EDIT: couldn't you use the same concept of the spotlight, lights?
