I don't know 100% but (I think) According to a Program, shown in Britain "Louis Theroux, Behind Bars" Some person was placed into prison, for something really stupid, like 200 years. I can't remember what he did, but apparently it upset and angered most of the other prisoners, so he had to be sperated from the General Prisoners, to preserve his life O2O

Aileen Wuornos murdered like 8 guys and was found guilty of all of them and for 8 life sentences.
