Idk if you had what I had, but mine seemed simular. It was like a phase, for me it just stopped, and sometimes came back.

You may have a stupid network adapter like I do in my dead/dying laptop.

What type of internet do you have? If you have dial up that may be the problem. Also wireless internet could be a problem.

Ok try connecting directly to your router with an ethernet cable. If that doesn't help then the problem is with your internet connection and there is nothing you can do about that (besides buying better service).
