port forwarding

I'm useing the technichal directions on how to host a server. On step 2 A it says i need to click on advanced then port forwarding on the router/admin page. But there's one problem, ther isn't a Port forward in link/buttton. Please help! :panda:

Damn, your router's probably too old/incapable.
I had to buy a new one to do so =\

Is it a LinkSys?

I I found it but now there's a new issue. I cannot find the control panel that has the network and dial-up connections.

You're on a Vista, I presume?
I had the same issue. I forget exactly what I did, though.
