Headcrabs DO have eyes!

They jump on your head, eat some of it, then control your brain and use you to kill everyone else, I'm not sure how this helps them survive, but the only reason they exist is because of Big Momma Headcrab who shoots thousands of mini-crabs at you while you're on Xen.
