Mac vs. PC

It also has good low-priced video editing.
Windows Vista has no widely-distributed mainframe, and nobody's really sure how it works or how it processes data. It needs more RAM than XP and 7, which will be released later this year or so, and it calls that data slower than 7. Vista also uses a large amount of space for logs, which takes a good portion of even my 4GB RAM to write.
I'm not saying all of Windows is bad at video editing. Windows 7 might get my attention enough to switch back over completely, because at this time, I have both operating systems, and two laptops.

your entire post is horsestuff. you know nothing about computers, so stop trying to impress us with your stories.
you remind me of them 80s movies when some kid jumps on a keyboard and types away real fast, and in seconds "hacks" into some secure government files.
it all looks good assuming the 3rd party people are to stupid to know how ridiculous that is.
that's what your attempting here. you think we are to stupid to understand so you can spew some crap and try to look smart.

in the end, a task can only be done as fast and well as the hardware allows. the OS don't even matter these days (unless your comparing old macOS to new ones, or old windows to new ones.)

I use a PC because I have a PC and nothing else, and I don't want to buy anything else.

So true
rkynick:
I get the feeling that the people in Mac commercials that decide to go with Mac because it "has less viruses and is more stable" are the same people who believe the sun revolves around the earth(about 15% of Americans)

Whenever I see a movie, I always note that they never show an OS, its just "magic government systems".
