Port Forwarding Issue
Blobeh:
I've been able to host servers for a long time. I just started to play Blockland again, and wanted to host a server. When I followed the instructions, I was still unable to host a server. There were a few things I noticed however: One thing was that I remember it saying in the tutorial that the range should be from 28000 - 28030, and now it says 28000 - 28000. Another thing I noticed was that the last 3 digits of each of my DNS adresses had changed. The last thing I noticed was that it said to change the protocol under the "Local Area Connection" when I thought it was "Wireless internet connection." Despite these differences, I followed the tutorial precisely and wound up with a dead server. If anyone has any ideas on what might be wrong, or I have made myself unclear, please post it here.
Blobeh:
*EDIT* (because I cant edit first post)
I forgot to mention: Under the "local area connection" properties, there is a tab marked "Advanced." In this is has a box where you can check off "Allow others to access the internet via this IP" or something along the lines of that. I was wondering if this could also be an issue.
Blobeh:
Are you serious, no one knows?

It just seems funny, you say you find these differences... but no mention on how they turned out when you tried to fix them. Did you change the noticeable changes?
Also: "Allow others to access the internet via this IP" is a bad thing to turn on. It has little to do with actual blockland.

Should have mentioned that, yes I changed it around to what I thought it should be, but still nothing.

Ok, that's nice to know. It just looked a little important.
