Just use the 1x4x2 fence in Specials.

I, for one, would like something like the fence. Instead of the fence though, it would be more of a grate that goes down to the ground like a door, then automatically goes back up. And it would be nice for a house or whatever if you want to add "realistic" ventilation.

This is what it should look like:
On a newbie server, I built this really awesome jail escape thing with air vents you crawl through and everything. I was building it cause the S. Admin threatened to ban me if I didn't, but a noobish admin took the destructo wand and poof, it's gone. The S. Admin permanently banned that noob. So I would like to help out with the vent.
