Oh god at how difficult it is just to forward ports on a mac.

Needs moar plugging directly into router and then using router page instead of some useless mac device.
What's the point of the airport thing that you plug your mac into?

Airport is the type of internet connection that I have.

Can you not connect the mac directly to router?

I'm pretty sure the airport is a router. It's what my wireless PC laptop connects to.

Now why would I need to do that?
Obviously macs don't make great gaming computers, but the graphics card will be sufficient long enough. Not sure why you need an ultra mega graphics card to run photoshop.
Because spending 2500 is a great way to replace a broken part in a computer. That is the down fall of a Mac. When something breaks, you have replace or get some expensive repair service to fiddle around with it. Also, yes, Photoshop is not that big, but that is not the case. Repair basically goes hand in hand with upgrading. If you get a broken part, might was well get a newer, better one as a replacement. Oh wait, you can't. You're on a Mac

Omega just go loving talk about how PCs are better somewhere else, in no way are you helping me by saying PCs are better.

Oh right, Airport is a router, oops. :(

You guys really need to take a second look at the conversation. I have Mac and it took all but ten seconds to Port Forward for me. The only reason it's difficult for him is he didn't know the password to his airport and now I doubt he even has an airport extreme. It's the airport, lay off the Macs.

Is it possible to ask your parents what type of airport you have? I need the brand of your airport, pleeease :3

Brand? D:

What do you mean by that, you mean what version?

I just need to find out what service you have. Anything would help hugely, a name, picture, numbers, anything. Comcast? Linksys? It is completely separate from your computer.

The type of Airport I use is called Jupiter2.

Does that help?

Unfortunately not, that's what your family has named the airport, otherwise it came as a default. Either way, there is no Jupiter2 model airport :(

Would your parents know what brand?

Well, my mom is clueless about computers, my dad might know but I doubt that he'd give me it. :(

Isn't there a way to just enter something into the Port Mapping list that will forward BL's ports?

Wait, maybe this will help, it's a list of stuff I found in About This Mac.
