I can't do tutorial

Hey guys I wanna do the tutorial badly but i cannot do the build part due to the 64x64 baseplate thing that you need to start with.
Is this happening because i have a demo?
Please help me!

For now, goto start game, then go into the list of add-ons.
Disable Script_TerrainBuildRules.
Go back to the tutorial.

This is true, I liked it better when it was an add-on. D:

Jesus Christ it IS disabled by default. I just now downloaded the installer, installed it to a new directory and ran the tutorial with no problems. I also re-installed v11, had it auto-update to v12 and had no problems. I honestly have no idea what you dumbasses are doing to encounter this problem unless you are actually enabling the add-on manually.
The only way you could possibly have this add-on enabled automatically is if you installed the game and ran a dedicated server before ever running the normal game.

I had never known as I have never actually hosted after V12 came out.
So after all this, it was because people were stupid?
