Azjherben:

For a deticated server.
What does one do?

Do I start a server then click deticated to make it deticated so I can leave?
Do I just click it without BL running then enter my server and add/change stuff?
Etc...

Also, even though it might be very laggy can 128,000 bricks ever be exceeded?
Also, can 32 players ever be exceeded? I know add-ons can change how many players it can have, so why not to 40 (for example)?

Chrono:

There is a file in your Blockland folder called dedicated.bat. Double click that to start a dedicated server.
I've heard of 128k bricks being exceeded, but I cannot confirm this.
Even when an add-on changes it higher than 32, it is still capped at 32. The only exception to this is Badspot's server. I do hope this can be changed in the future.

40 would allow a 20 vs 20 battle. That wouldn't be bad.....
I know the file dedicated.bat but I was wondering about speficics*

I can't use blockland right now because of "limited bandwith" and innableity to port forward the PC I am using this minute.

Chrono:

A dedicated server still needs to be port forwarded.
Specifics? Like what? Changing server settings? Use RTB or before you start the dedicated, go ingame, start game, change settings, cancel, close blockland normally (Don't alt+f4, crash it, or close the Command Line box) then run the dedicated.

Badspot:

You can set the $pref::Server::maxPlayers variable higher than 32 if you are running a dedicated server.

Currently ghost ids use 17 bits, so you can only have 131,072 ghosted objects in the game.  That includes bricks, players, datablocks and stuff in the map like terrain and the skybox.  It is trivial for me to increase the number of bits and allow more ghosted objects but there's not much point in that right now since most people can't handle that many bricks.
