Or atleast a partition.
Wait... Can programs like this bore into the root windows installer file and install itself when windows installs again?

Go to the Startup tab, which displays a list of programs that run at startup. Uncheck the entries for "nntray.exe"and "NNSvsc", then restart. Net Nanny disabled! Thanks Jon M. for the info.

--- Quote ---alright everyone, here is the down right easiest way to disable the latest net nanny (version 5.0 as of this writing); note that this will work for Windows, but I don't know if it will work for mac.
Go to My computer and click on the local disc drive (C:), then go to program files folder, then to the net nanny folder. Here's where the fun begins, try to rename anything that ends in .dll (short for dynamic link library). If you can rename at least one then you're good. All of these are application extensions that net nanny uses, so when you restart your computer, a message should appear that says that net nanny can't find the particular program that you renamed (note that some of them may be password protected, it's probably best if you log off net nanny before you do this). At this point, hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete go to the task manager and, well, the rest is fairly obvious. Oh, this should work even if you are not the administrator.

--- Quote ---If you don't want to disable but rather go around it, you can use firefox + adblock plus + beatfiltering for youtube and other sites, and then you can just see if any sites you use have https://. For example, meebo has https://meebo.com/ . If you're using firefox, add "http://*meebo*" to the adblock plus list and you won't get any errors.

I am going to tell you how to bypass Net Nanny. The process is straightforward and works without admin privileges on Windows Vista and Windows XP. The trick works on Internet Explorer as well as Firefox.
To bypass Net Nanny download a small piece of anti-censorship software called UltraSurf http://www.ultrareach.com/download_en.htm . Extract the software to a location where it doesn’t call attention - not on your desktop! If you want to bypass Net Nanny while surfing with Internet Explorer just click the executable u94.exe; no installation is required. Net Nanny won’t be able to block any sites, and won’t report visited Web sites either. So as not make somebody suspicious that you have managed to disable Net Nanny you should go to Option and tick “Hide Golden Lock”. Then restart UltraSurf.
If you use Firefox download the Add-on for Firefox http://www.ultrareach.com/download_en.htm . Read and follow the instruction how to install the Firefox on the vendor’s web site. You can toggle UltraSurf on and off by clicking the WJ Enabled / WJ Disabled button right corner. You can change it to the UltraSurf logo if you want: In the Firefox menu bar go to Tools and select add-ons. Select UltraSurf Firefox Tool and click Options. Change Status bar display format to Icon. You need to execute the UltraSurf.exe before using Firefox.
UltraSurf will block some Adult Website as the software has originally been designed to overcome censorship in China. You can easily overcome this obstacle by visiting www.gateproxy.info: use your browser with UltraSurf enabled and navigate to www.gateproxy.info. Enter the URL of the site you want to visit and click Browse or Go.
Enjoy!
