Rendezvous Pitch Maneuver (RPM) is now being performed. Basically an 8 minute back flip so we can see the Shuttle's heat shield.

Yay! Nothing has blown up yet!

Endeavour is GO for docking!

Shuttle is very close to the station now, looks like docking will come earlier then planned. Might be worth watching the live stream now.

Shuttle is at 34 feet away, moving in for final approach. (Docking is in a few minutes)

Yep, just made contact, hard mate still hasn't happened yet though (although that's not a big deal).

Anyways I'm gone for now, hopefully I'll be back by 2, I believe they said hatch opening is scheduled around 2:40 pm.

Shuttle crew is now entering the space station.

You can watch them greet each other here:

Also a record number of 13 people on the station at once.

they're doing stuff now, woo

Nasa doesnt get enough money to make it worthwhile. I would rather see my taxpayer dollars going to Nasa so they can make some cool stuff instead of the destroyed auto industry or troubled banks. Without Nasa we wouldnt have the internet, cell phones, or many other cool stuff. Inmagine what they could put out if they actually got governmental funding.

They say that by 2050, we'll be thanking them for what they've done, they would've moved us to the Moon and gave us new and interesting ways to travel, have fun, and live.

Space Shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to land tomorrow, Friday, at 10:48 CDT (GMT-6)
Once again you can see it at http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html?param=public

Since it's awhile since then I'll bump the topic an hour or so before, if I remember that is.

wheres it landing? i wanna know if i get to hear a sonic boom :D

Wow, I'm surprised that Bones hasn't posted. In my recent friend activity bar thing on youtube, it's all just been bones, favoriting and rating billions of spaceship things :3

Space Shuttle Payload bay doors are now closed, weather is looking good for the landing. And I made a mistake about the time, it's 9:48 CDT and 10:48 EDT, 13:48 GMT (or is there some weird daylights saving time difference).

Also I might be installing windows 7 before the landing so I might not be able to update this thread, I'll still be watching NASA TV through satellite though.
