Author Topic: [SOLVED] Milkshape and transparency during exporting  (Read 712 times)

This is my texture within Milkshape, and then the final product exported and placed in blockland.

The texture's "translucent" box was checked during exporting and it didn't do anything.

Why does milkshape hate me so?

Transparency is screwed in Blockland. There was a way to have transparency but I forgot how to :(

Try Translucent + Additive.

That always works, only issue is you can'st see the model through trans bricks but trans bricks are pretty much the most forgeted up things in BL so it can't be helped.

Translucent + Additive:

I've tried subtractive too, produces similar results except black instead of white.

Strangely I've successfully exported a model with transparency before but I have no idea why this current model isn't working the same:

Hmm I see what you mean, I think it might be the texture's fault in this case, but I'm not sure. I'm not seeing much from those pics.

Ah ha! I'm an idiot. I had colour shift on, it was screwing up transparency. Problem solved.  :cookieMonster:
