Actually as long a i know its the END of the world but not the DESTRUCTION, it can happen any other thing, maybe we all gonna transport into another dimension, etc.
Also, the Mayas are never wrong, seriously, they were able to have the calendar an they know when the eclipses were gonna happen before the Europeans.
AND the magnetic polarity of the world is gonna change, so no one know what is gonna happen.
