its not a flintlock rifle, because it doesnt have the grooves on the inside, also the flintlocks were scarcely seen in the Civil War. What you would would be a Springfield or and Enfield Musket, and im not talking about the bolt action crap, im talking about the muzzle-loading, 1853-65 patterned grooved rifle. the flintlock was also not a pistol, it was a musket, or a moothbore. |
