Traditionally, they claim to be interested in the culture when in reality, they are only doing so in an attempt to gain favor in a larger community. anyone who tries to pose as an Asian who doesn't have a bloodline leading directly to the subject of obsession is a more acceptable form of a weaboo. People have tried to call me a weaboo, but I have Japanese heritage in me, so it's only natural for me to be curious about that 1%+ that I am. |
