Did you know when you re-install, you have the option of keeping your old stuff?
Although you never know if an add-on is causing the problem.

I will agree with that...
What my first idea would be is that you are trying to join/host a server BEFORE auth. has completed... which sometimes takes a moment or two on my computer. Try waiting a bit before joining/starting a server...

ok i know this is off subject but you ppl are obsesed with japanese crap shows and need to stop watching them. now i think the other ppl are right about just reinstaling BL if that dosent work......................... ...........your screwed
