BUT HOW CAN YOU BE SO SURE? ITS SO LOW-RES

You don't need a high-res picture to tell what something is.  Off-the-air TV is low res and you can still tell what every thing is. 

Also low res for Hubble is still better than HD.

If Jupiter was to hit Earth, I'd say how the hell did it get here so fast, and we would either be inside of it, or just non-existant.
