Tachikoma/Uchikoma/Fuchikoma REQUEST
<< < (2/5) > >>
Zephyrs:
I remember Ghost in the Shell. I used to watch the anime.

I also played the PS2 game. Tachikoma was like rape in the form of a robot. I think it'd be a nice vehicle.

Yeah,I tell ya,it'd be awesome to have ta/fu/u chikoma battles.

Going up with the wall, then jumping all the way down and firing the guns.

And btw,if anyone's making this, the player shouldn't be visible when inside the ta/fu/u chikomas. I mean. No head out like the tank.

EDIT: Btw,idk if this is really possible, but i'd be really glad if the spiders had AI. I mean,in the manga/anime and movies, they had AI. I took a look at that AIwheeledvehicle thread...and judging from it,I don't think it's possible...but if it is,at least try to make it with an AI! With um,simple commands, like, just following the owner, and shooting at anyone that attempts to hurt the owner.

EDIT2: Y'know, the main behavior of the vehicle would be sorta like the gravity jeep. except it strafes. and jumps. and fires two machine guns.

it could climb but not walk on them like spiderman, it is not currently possible to make your character flip while still having control over it, let alone walk on walls.
that would be epic though, seeing a huge spider robot climb up a huge tower about to assassinate someone.
Masterlegodude:
I like the Tachikomas more, it also reminds me of the Halo Custom Edition map Hugeass :cookieMonster:
Muffinmix:
I started modeling the Haw200 scorpion tank and the Armed Suit from the anime not too long ago, was definitely going to make the Tachikoma as well just because they're my favorite sentient mini tanks :3

No promises on any releases or working concepts though, all I can say is I was waiting to figure out a way to cloak models and I can now so that prompted me to continue modeling them. The scripting involved would likely stop me in my tracks once I get to testing so you probably won't be seeing this stuff come from me.

Haw200 tank

Armed Suit

Another reason I like these is they're very simple shapes so the triangle count on them would be quite low. I could texture in the tiny details if I want but I'd like to keep them as blocko as possible.
