I've been engaged once. Problem is that I can't seem to find a woman willing to commit...you think they'd be everywhere and would kill for having a nice guy like me (yes I can actually be very nice, you just have to earn it) But I suppose being an starfish is more appealing to women now. I've already tried that path and it didn't work for me at all. If I ever do end up getting married, I'd spend the first decade of the thing building the relationship (with a place to live, finances, things of comfort, ect.) before I'd ever think of getting a kid. And I'd want at least one kid, maybe more. But, as I said, its the pain in the ass process of finding someone who won't run out on me after a few months claiming it's because she wants independence, when it's most likely she couldn't commit to just one guy. |
