I look at the keyboard when I type, have been for over 10 years now. Doesn't mean it'll hinder my performance at all. Let him look at the strings, hand eye coordination is prime in getting him to learn. Some people can only learn in that manner. Give it a shot for a month and see what happens. Just tell him it's not a permanent thing. |
