Really weird actually, because like yesterday I made a new city with the same buildings on Gentoo's server.

do dof screenshots save anywhere special? I took some of them and they are nowhere to be found, however they show up in the slideshow for the mainmenu

Have you checked the My Documents folder? (Just Documents for Mac users)
The screenshots go where Blockland was installed
