i noticed this too - at a certain point though you break out of the pattern. the mindset changes into making and finishing something goddamn impressive, not getting attention for it, and you can tell who these people are cause they don't respond to every compliment post in their gallery/whatever thread.

but i can confirm this happened to me a LOT when i first started working towards being a better than average builder.

are you actually settling for flat terrain what the forget

use larger cubes and tile the terrain like shifted cubes floating in air so you can actually get a working model done quickly

Yeah but I'm a lazy piece of stuff AND I suck at terrain the most of anything in blockland.
