ok seriously, why does everyone think Rock Band and Guitar Hero equate to musical talent? They don't. I don't know if it's just me, but I never got any challenge out of either game.

Actually, it's helped me get a better rhythm with drums, so that now the drum set I have ordered won't just sit there and collect dust. Now I have a few ideas to start off with. Yeah, it's no replacement for an actual tutor, however, it's gotten me in a far better skill than just beating on them without it has.

I understand with drums, Same with the guitar, it teaches you to do seperate things with your hands at the same time, a vital skill for a guitarist. Although, you have no idea how many people I know who have beaten every guitar hero game on expert and then are shocked when they ask to play my guitar and they can't do a chord change.
