Ping is dead?

Anybody: If you want to join your own dedicated server, you have to query LAN instead of Internet.

For other people it works on the INTERNET but for you a server hosted from the same household is a LAN server. FYI; LAN = Local Area Network. Even if no other person is able to join your dedicated INTERNET server(inproper portforwarding, etc, etc. Not saying that you have done so.), you will be able to join it.
