I am actually too tired to be intellectually anyways so its just as well. Goodnight ya'll. If this thread is still going in the morning, I will be sure to come back and be sure to point out how stupid the extremists on both sides are while maintaining my position that the general idea of Christianity in it's essence is still important and that I have faith that something greater than me has a greater plan for me, etc etc.

Basically, yes. The goats and stuff showed that we were humble. Mind you this was for a culture developed in really harsh land and were basically all barbarians and terrible in every way. The religion tried to cap it, but people were still sinful. Basic things, like don't steal, don't kill, etc were questionably being ignored, politicians church officials, etc all corrupt. It sucked
Jesus took all the room for this system to fail out. Gave us a one-on-one connection with the Lord so that we may choose to accept him and serve him in a way that actually... well makes sense.

Well, its more the humans that kept insisting on being evil, and agian, it was to support the fact that humans were not first. It instilled a humility in the culture.

I doubt the person who made it would want it locked, because with such a statement like that... well he was trolling completely and obviously and soemone took the bait and started this stuff and kept me up a good 30 minutes...
