A topic that I must bitch about: Parents Complaining about videogame violence.
Frogg:
Listen, the fact is that there are handicapped parents that like to babysit their children with tv, so they try to get tv shows cancelled and ruin it for everyone else. Then there are parents who try to ban video games, when in reality, if they don't want there kids playing them, they don't have to get them. But like I said, babysitting, so they try to get it removed so they don't have to go through the trouble of taking basic care of their children. Another reason why they get them banned is because they are busy bodies and want to run other peoples lives so they don't have to focus on their own screwed up lives. They then stick them on a stuffload of drugs like ritilin and ceraquil to shut them up and they can have kids and not take care of them, basically being irresponsible parents. The end /rant.

Parents just blame the outcome of their stuffty parenting on video games, a thing most parents know nothing about.
In a way, it's sort of like when teenagers would blame music for subliminal messages that told them to kill someone.

Penn and Teller did an episode on this. They called out everyone against videogames as a hypocrite / idiot. Especially the gun nut who blamed video games for violence.

It's not like Obama is going to end the only thing that isn't failing in the US, so I think we will have games around for a while. Also, anyone who plays GTA and then kills someone was not mentally stable to begin with.
