How do you start and host a internet game in v12?

You manually forwarded your ports using the guide found on the popup when clicking "Internet" on the Start Game menu?

wait... you tried to port forward without port forwarding then?
if you forward your ports you have a better chance at hosting, not sure how some of my friends do it without port forwarding...
