Is there a code that makes a character look like " " but it isnt?

Someone once told me something like this before on BL

"If a "The Titanium" comes in and be's a jerk its not me he used a code to make it look like theres a space between The and Titanium"

or atleast something like that =\
I wanna know what the code is if its real...or if he was lying >_<
