Uhg, I'm not going to go through and read how the fights been going so far, but heres my opinion.
The olden days of blockland and the current days cannot be compared, they are almost completely different styles o building, It was always the editor wand the classic blockland, even though that took the program away from its initial intent, it still created a powerful new way for building obscure and fine detail structures, however keeping in mind that this is not what the game was designed for, and keeping in mind the lag involved, The community eventually settled into retail which removes the topic of editor's wand bringing the game back down to its initial purpose, to construct using original minifig block pieces.
In all I cant complain that about our original RTB, after all that is where it all begun but with the gameplay so different to the latest version comparing them would be like comparing... An electric toothbrush over a toothbrush... or VHS over DVD.
