Debating whether to get Windows 7 or just stay with Vista

the only real difference i found when i switched to 7, was compatibility mode ACTUALLY worked.
if things are to old or just plain not updated drivers and such for vista, it was an issue running on vista.
however 7 (same loving thing as vista pretty much) you can set things to run in any OS compatibility mode and it WILL ALWAYS WORK.
other then this, the only real difference on the looks and function from the desktop is i love to pin folders and other things to the taskbar.
and about the "uses less ram" thing, you WANT your computer to use as close to 80% ram at ANY time if its available. i dont get how you kids can have 4-8 gigs of ram then get angry if more then 1g is being used...
i think they only changed the algorithms n such for how the memory is shared and moved, when the active window changes or is in full screen modes.
