Debating whether to get Windows 7 or just stay with Vista

Mac's are now overpriced PC's, pretty much. They use the same processors that PC's do now, which makes them...a PC. You could buy a PC that's just as good as a Mac for under $1000, probably.
Plus, it's your fault that you can't take care of your PC and let it get bloated down with malware.

Vista is fine for me, and with 3gb of RAM and an integrated Intel graphics card, I can still run Source games at 20-45 fps. Vista doesn't "hog" any of my RAM, and it never really bothers me with questions. My vista starts up in about 30 seconds Most of the time, it's just the people that use the computer, not the computer.

You need only 2 GB of RAM to have a good Vista experience, and a newer Intel integrated graphics chip if you want to run Windows Aero and maybe a few games.
