Should I spend the next 2 years in extremely intense guitar practice?

Alright, I want to get signed by collage I've got the talent, but I usually only practice an hour a day, so I'm wondering if I should just completely forget everything I play for about 5 hours a day minimum on weekdays (that's the most I can afford with school and work during the summer) and about 10-14 hours on weekends (before you think I'm crazy yes I have practiced marathon sessions like this before, I am able to do it) for the next 2 years in hopes of getting signed? What do you guys think I should do?
