I myself am more of the non-religion, I don't oppose religion like it is evil but I just don't worship a "god". Because if you look at it, religion and evolution are really the only two options. Evolution is completely true, it has been scientifically proven that is, but have any of you Christians ever seen god, or his "disciples"? Or even anything to prove that the extent of the bible is true. I recognize that a man named Jesus walked the land of a few thousand years ago, but him being divine, god's son, having "powers" is really what throws me off. And in the bible look and see if it mentions anything that everyone can see today. Dinosaurs as an example: Not a single word mentions their existence yet we know they were here. The Ice Age, same as above. And then the "Great Flood" thing with Noah's ark. We have had roughly the same ocean level as long as the Earth has existed. Any deep space things are really against the bible in ways. Such as the Big Bang, not proven but accepted by most scientist all over the world. This is especially against Christianity. Just the theory of it makes some religious people angry as hell. I am just saying my opinion on the subject, I am not quelling anybody's beliefs, I am not saying that religion is bad, I'm not saying that you all are wrong as hell and that you should all be condemned to death. What I am saying is that I am not for the idea or against it, I am just stating my belief, and I hope you all don't try to quell my thoughts either. |

Oasis and The Russian please stop fighting --- Quote from: The Russian on September 01, 2009, 10:28:40 PM ---Suck on that. --- End quote --- Please don't demean Russian, negative language like this provokes flame-wars. --- Quote from: Oasis on September 02, 2009, 07:58:26 PM ---but have any of you Christians ever seen god, or his "disciples"? Dinosaurs are implied, as is a water vapor barrier over the Earth that would have caused a flood. It also mentions Israel becoming a nation, which many people thought was impossible, but they did in 1948. There are many other refutations I have learned about biblical authenticity, but I don't want to get into that in this topic. I'm just glad you realize Jesus did walk the Earth two thousand years ago - many people here are so ignorant that they don't want to believe that. --- Quote from: The Russian on August 19, 2009, 08:30:17 PM ---I bet I can talk to GSF Ghost and ask him to stay a bit longer on blockland and make it. --- End quote --- I really do wish I could make more content, but I need to hold true to the carrier being my final add-on. And a submarine would be easy I think, just experiment with setting the density somewhere between 0.4 to 1.0, and script the submarine to be a plane with low thrust and reduced maneuverability. If there is a problem balancing the density, then set the density to a value as close to neutral buoyancy as possible and increase the lift. That should work. |

--- Quote from: Lord Elavier on September 02, 2009, 07:42:49 PM ---Same here but as being a christian you arent suppose to think your better then others, yes we believe and will go to heaven and they will not but god did not make us to gloat about be better than others. He made us to share what we have with them not to hoard and gloat about that. Think About it. --- End quote --- I understand that, and there is a phrase "caught up in the moment" and in that moment I was mad, I mean who likes being called an idiot. Oh and Oasis sorry that I was gloating and being mean but I don't like being called an idiot. Also I didn't really think I was better I was actually defending myself because he called me an idiot. |
