Avatar is among the best shows I've ever seen, and I hate anime. Its targeted at kids, sure, but its a very deep show with great characters and development.

Bleach is pretty good, although im not sure how long the fights last.
if you dont mind english sub titles, naruto shippudden,
but ill pretty much watch any anime :\

Neon Genesis Evangelion, yes definitely.
Death Note, very good, the last episode is like holy stuff climax.
Avatar is awesome too, very good how it follows all of the main character's journey. Very entertaining.
