I'm 13559, and I was running my server when a 6k... I'll spare their identity... build several spam bricks which, when he said certain things would fire various spammy projectiles. He had like 10 of them, all relaying, ready for his speech so he could pelt people with pongs and rockets.
I canceled events.
He proceeded to yell at me with things like
YOU STUPID 13K NOW I HAVE TO START OVER
loving 13KS!
YOU DELETED MY EVENTS
I would reply that I only canceled them, which is not the same as deleting them.
He continued YOU ERASED THEM
YOU BITCH
I told him to check with the wrench
YOU STUPID 13KS
I told him WRENCH THE loving BRICK, THE EVENTS WILL STILL BE THERE
He proceeded to hammer his own bricks, yelling ITS TOO LATE THEY'RE GONE BECAUSE YOU ERASED MY EVENTS
He pauses before the last two..

I finally convinced him to check on the last two remaining bricks just to point out that canceling events does NOT erase the events. Of course, they were still all there.

If anyone knows me on the forums, they know I've encountered plenty of low IDs that are total idiots, and I know many high IDs that are very competent. I gave one of them admin and a low ID complained about it, reasoning that they deserve it more than them. When asked why, they responded that they've been around longer.

TL;DR: Sometimes, it works. A lot of the times, it doesn't. I try very hard to never discriminate by ID.
